Job summary

PURE Insurance is seeking a technology leader to set the architecture and technical direction for its Finance technology portfolio, including Billing, Payments, and Accounting. You will partner with Finance and technology leaders to modernize platforms, elevate engineering excellence, and define how AI transforms software delivery and operations.

The role demands a decade of leadership, strong enterprise architecture skills, and experience with cloud-native platforms such as AWS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, architecture, or technology leadership.
• Experience with Duck Creek billing platform, payment platforms, accounting systems, or other financial applications.
• Proven success leading architecture for large-scale, business-critical enterprise platforms.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
• Insurance industry experience—Personal Lines P&C preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi-year technology vision and architecture roadmap for Finance.
• Establish and evolve architecture principles, standards, governance, and reusable design patterns.
• Lead a small, high-impact team of engineers and foster a culture of ownership and learning.
• Partner with Finance, Infrastructure, Security, and EA leaders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead the responsible adoption of AI across software architecture, development, testing, and operations.
