Job summary

You will collaborate with faculty, researchers, and external partners, manage patent processes, monitor licensing compliance, and contribute to educational tools and workshops on IP management and commercialization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required preferably in engineering or related field.
• Advanced degree in business, law, or sciences highly preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers and promotes the University's IP programs and compliance.
• Negotiates and maintains license agreements and manages patent processes.
• Develops educational tools and supports policy development.
• Conducts market research to identify markets for University technologies.
• Assists with Research Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements.
• Provides guidance to faculty on IP and commercialization matters.
• Supports presentations and training on IP management and tech transfer.
