Job summary

Base, America’s next-generation power company, is seeking a Technical Talent Partner to lead full-cycle recruiting for software and embedded engineering teams. You will source, engage, and close top engineers, partnering with engineering leaders to map roles and design focused interview loops.

You will evaluate candidates with deep technical insight, track pipeline metrics, and ensure a positive candidate experience while moving quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience with a track record of closing engineers.
• Experience recruiting in hardware-adjacent environments such as hardware, software, robotics, IoT, or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to source, engage, and close candidates in competitive markets.
• Strong technical acumen to evaluate signals from technical conversations and portfolios.
• Data-driven approach to recruiting; track metrics and use them to improve processes.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to move quickly while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting: run end-to-end hiring for software and embedded engineering roles.
• Source and engage talent: build pipelines of engineers, including passive candidates.
• Go deep on the technical bar: screen for firmware, embedded systems, and backend roles.
• Partner with hiring managers: scope roles and define interview loops.
• Champion candidate experience: keep candidates informed at every stage.
• Run on data: track pipeline health and time-to-fill to improve processes.
• Move at Base pace: manage a high volume of open roles with fast, sound decisions.
