Base is building a distributed battery network to transform the grid. We are hiring a Technical Talent Partner to build and scale software and embedded engineering teams.

You will own full-cycle recruiting, partner with engineering leaders, and foster an excellent candidate experience in a high-velocity environment. Bring 5+ years of technical recruiting, experience with hardware-adjacent domains, and a data-driven mindset to drive pipeline health and hiring quality at Base in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience with a track record of closing engineers.
• Experience recruiting in hardware-adjacent environments such as hardware and software, robotics, IoT, or manufacturing-driven companies.
• Proven ability to source, engage, and close candidates in competitive markets.
• Strong technical acumen to evaluate signals through conversations, portfolio review, or code judgment.
• Data-driven approach to track pipeline metrics and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting: end-to-end hiring for software and embedded engineering roles.
• Source and engage talent, building pipelines including passive candidates.
• Go deep on the technical bar to screen for firmware, embedded systems, and backend engineering.
• Partner with hiring managers to scope roles and define interview loops.
• Champion candidate experience and move quickly while upholding quality.
• Run on data to improve pipeline health and time-to-fill.
• Move at Base pace handling a high volume of open roles.
