Chris Edward Consulting is seeking a Talent Consultant to help staffing for our technology division, focusing on Collaboration, Unified Communications, Building Technologies, and Physical Security for software, hardware, and integration companies. Hybrid work model with two days on-site per week.

The role emphasizes mindset, curiosity, and relationship-building over recruiting experience, with generous first-year On-Target Earnings and strong2nd-year earning potential as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of success in outbound sales, business development, or customer-facing role with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and starting conversations with people they don't know.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage activities, opportunities, and follow-up.
• Naturally curious and enjoys asking thoughtful questions to fully understand people and situations.
• Confident in building relationships with executives, professionals, and people from all backgrounds.
• Comfortable having honest conversations and asking difficult questions when needed.
• Resourceful, coachable, and able to solve problems while working independently.
• Competitive, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial with a growth mindset and a genuine passion for meeting new people.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Founder & CEO to help executives and hiring managers hire the best talent.
• Source & identify top talent leveraging LinkedIn, email, text, video messaging, networking, referrals, and prospecting calls, all with proven playbooks to help you succeed.
• Identify exceptional talent by learning how to evaluate performance, leadership, and long-term potential, not just what's written on a resume.
• Stay informed on industry trends, hiring market conditions, compensation, and competitive talent intelligence.
• Negotiate employment offers and compensation packages that create successful outcomes for both clients and candidates.
• Build your professional network and personal brand on LinkedIn, with support to become a trusted voice within the industries we serve.
