Job summary

System One is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle IT recruitment for mid-to-senior roles in a fast-paced environment at our Baltimore operation.

You will independently drive hiring initiatives, partner with hiring managers, and build strong sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent, including data engineers, software leads, and cybersecurity managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in corporate or agency environments.
• 3+ years of IT recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for software, data, engineering, or technology-focused positions.
• Strong sourcing and passive candidate engagement skills.
• Experience managing 10+ concurrent requisitions.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical hiring managers and understand technical terminology.
• Experience with ATS, preferably PeopleSoft.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake through offer and onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and provide market insights.
• Source, identify, and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.
• Manage a requisition load of approximately 15-30 openings simultaneously.
• Conduct intake meetings, candidate screenings, interview coordination, and offer negotiations.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Ensure accurate applicant tracking and reporting within ATS systems.
• Provide an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Participate in recruitment marketing initiatives, networking events, and diversity recruiting efforts as needed.
