Job summary

Standard Supply is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join our DFW-area headquarters onsite, with occasional travel to branch locations. You will take tickets, diagnose issues, fix problems, document actions, and close tickets with minimal guidance.

We will teach our processes, but you should already understand Windows Server basics, print services, networking, and Microsoft 365 administration. Strong written communication and multitasking are essential for success in this frontline

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a help desk with ticket volume and documentation.
• Three or more years in a similar role is ideal; MSP experience is welcome.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments, print services, basic networking, and Microsoft 365 tenant administration.
• Clear written communicator; most of this job happens in writing.
• Valid driver's license; travel to branch locations occasionally.
• Nice to have: Epicor P21 or another ERP, HVAC background, Intune, PowerShell, Cisco Meraki, CompTIA or Microsoft certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ticket work: take assigned tickets from first touch to resolution, diagnose, fix, document, and escalate when needed.
• Endpoints & identity: deploy, patch, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals; manage user lifecycle in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Business app support: first-line support for line of business apps and Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive).
• Projects: take on defined pieces of rollouts, migrations, and endpoint refreshes with a senior teammate.
