Job summary

Brady Corporation’s Pittsburgh office is seeking a Technical Support Representative for our Engraving Solutions business. The role focuses on advanced product support for automated laser engraving and pin marking systems, interfacing with Brady and Gravotech brands.

It is an on-site position in Cranberry Township, PA, with travel for training as needed. You will handle high-complexity technical issues, document interactions, and work with field service to resolve cases efficiently.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical school education or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of technical support or customer service experience.
Experience troubleshooting electrical and/or mechanical systems.
Solid understanding of Salesforce and/or equivalent CRM systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to ~10% with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first level of support for customers via phone, email, and chat; document interactions and escalate complex cases to the field service team.
Provide high-quality technical customer support across Brady products and services.
Use remote desktop tools and testing equipment to isolate hardware, software, and system issues.
Strive to resolve cases through their lifecycle with a target of closing 90% of received cases.
Maintain professional relationships with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
