Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking an Assembly Technician - Dot Peen for its Engraving Solutions business in Pittsburgh (Cranberry Township). You will assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on Dot Peen marking machines, while handling RMAs, on-site service, and kit assembly for new orders.

The role demands strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and safe operation of tools in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with focus on precision, quality, safety and detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with dependability.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 5%.
• Comfort with computers, mobile devices and standard workplace technology.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally, 20 lb frequently, 10 lb constantly.
• Able to work safely around moving equipment and loud noises.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain Dot Peen marking machines.
• Process daily RMAs: unpack, record model/part numbers and customer information.
• Document parts and labor hours on RMAs and conduct on-site field service.
• Fulfill new machine orders by assembling spare part kits per specs.
• Inspect, test and package machines for shipping with complete documentation.
• Use hand and power tools to perform precise mechanical assemblies.
• Maintain reserve inventory for backups and demonstrations.
