Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent in Idaho to be the first point of contact for technology support and solutions for customers at the local store. You'll receive training and resources to assess needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

As part of the Geek Squad, you will help customers with setup, provide guidance on repair versus replacement, and maintain up-to-date knowledge through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Comfort with learning new technology and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking detailed notes for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
