Job summary

DLA Piper in Austin is seeking a desk-side IT Support specialist to provide hardware and software assistance to end users. The role covers onsite and remote support, device setup, and coordination with vendors.

You will install software, image hardware, manage mobile devices, and assist with migrations and equipment upgrades. A strong focus on customer service and problem resolution is essential, with after-hours on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience providing end-user support, troubleshooting hardware/software, and installing PC peripherals.
• High School or GED required.
• CompTIA A+, Network+ certifications preferred.
• Must have experience with Windows, Office, device configuration, and network printing.

Responsibilities

• Install standard software on firm computers.
• Provide on-site and remote technology support to employees and clients.
• Set up hardware including desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and support.
• Set up and support mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware failures, and printer issues.
• Manage firm-wide equipment upgrades and reconfiguration.
• Assist with pre- and post-migration support.
• Maintain hardware inventory.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding and MFA/remote access training.
• Monitor ticket queue and document resolutions.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and occasional travel.
• Participate in meetings and firm events with equipment and connections.
• Support Level 3 teams on projects.
