Verkada seeks a Technical Support Engineering intern for Spring 2027 at our San Mateo HQ. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge, cloud-managed IoT tech, troubleshooting for enterprise clients and contributing to system design. This role requires a 3rd or 4th-year student in a related technical field.

Applicants should have networking, Linux, and systems coursework, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills. In-person, 40 hours/week with housing stipend and on-site meals are offered.

Qualifications

• Current or soon-to-be undergraduate in a technical bachelor’s program (3rd or 4th year).
• Coursework in networking, Linux, and computer systems.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex network, hardware, and software problems on Verkada's platform.
• Serve as go-to expert for smart system design and integration advice.
• Translate technical concepts into clear guidance via phone, chat, and email.
• Own customer issues end-to-end from problem identification to resolution.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to test gear and identify bugs.
