Verkada is seeking software engineering interns to join the Backend Engineering team for a challenging internship. You will contribute to a cloud-native security platform used globally, building scalable services and collaborating across teams.

You will be on-site at Verkada HQ in San Mateo, CA, and participate in multiple projects across the stack, with growth opportunities and internship-specific perks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CS degree with graduation by mid-2028.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable distributed systems for high traffic of devices.
• Work with Redis and DynamoDB for fast data access.
• Work with Postgres databases and Kafka/SQS.
• Deploy services with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Develop microservices with Python and/or Go.
