Verkada in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Technical Support Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. Based at our HQ, you’ll tackle real-world troubleshooting on cloud-managed IoT platforms and work directly with engineering and product teams.

You’ll own issues end-to-end, translate complex concepts for customers, and help design solutions with enterprise clients. This is a full-time, in-person internship requiring a 3rd or 4th year CS/IT focused student.

Qualifications

• You have coursework experience with computer networking, Linux, and computer systems.
• You are a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.
• You can clearly and confidently communicate complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Troubleshooting: Dive into complex network, hardware, and software problems on Verkada's platform
• Level Up Fast: Become the go-to expert customers trust for smart system design and integration advice
• Communicate with Impact: Translate heavy technical concepts into clear, sharp advice on phone calls, live chat, and emails
• Own It, End to End: Take full ownership of customer issues from "we have a problem" to "problem solved"
• Team Up with Tech Leaders: Partner directly with Engineering and Product teams to test new gear and hunt down bugs before anyone else
• Share Knowledge: Write Knowledge Base content that helps thousands of users
