Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology support and solutions in-store. You'll assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Training and resources are provided to help you deliver accurate next steps. In this role you will help customers set up new devices, explain repair vs replacement options, and keep service queues updated with clear status.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to technology.
• Basic understanding of devices and software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking notes to estimate next steps
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement options
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents
• Be flexible to work holidays, nights, and weekends
