Crowell & Moring LLP is seeking a Director of Technology Strategy and Portfolio Management to partner with the CIO on advancing the firm’s technology vision and delivering value across initiatives. This role leads strategy, planning, governance, and delivery of technology programs supporting attorneys, staff, and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant master's degree is preferred.
• PMP certification, or related certification.
• Ten years of experience in a senior technology portfolio management role; preferably in a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and execution of the firm’s technology strategy and roadmap.
• Lead portfolio management processes including intake, prioritization, and investment review.
• Drive governance, architecture alignment, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Direct strategic technology programs from planning through delivery with clear ownership and milestones.
• Champion IT service delivery, change management, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop executive-level reports showing impact of improvements and initiatives.
