CVS Health seeks a Lead Director, Technology Strategy and Program Governance to guide multi-year technology strategy, governance, and operating excellence for Meritain Health and payer solutions within the CVS/Aetna ecosystem. You will partner with senior leaders to align objectives, investments, and execution across a 300-person technology organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading enterprise technology strategy, portfolio governance, and large-scale transformations.
• 10+ years partnering with senior technology and business executives to influence investment priorities, operating model evolution, and strategic direction.
• 8+ years creating executive presentations, board materials, business cases, and leadership communications for C-suite audiences.
• 5+ years collaborating across software engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, product management, and technology operations to drive alignment and execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve multi-year technology strategy, executive roadmap, and investment priorities.
• Lead the operating rhythm of the technology organization, governance, planning, and executive forums.
• Oversee technology portfolio governance, capital planning, financial management, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive accountability across strategic programs by monitoring delivery, risks, dependencies, and portfolio health for executive leadership.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Operations, Finance, HR, and stakeholders to strengthen delivery governance and technology transformation outcomes.
