Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director, Technology Strategy and Program Governance to define multi-year technology strategy, governance models, and operating excellence across Meritain Health and payer solutions within the Aetna ecosystem.

You will partner with executive leadership to align investments, manage portfolio health, and drive modernization and measurable business outcomes through technology.

Qualifications

10+ years leading enterprise technology strategy and transformation.
10+ years partnering with senior technology and business executives to influence investment priorities and operating model evolution.
8+ years creating executive presentations, board materials, and leadership communications for C-suite audiences.
5+ years collaborating across software engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, product management, and technology operations to drive alignment.

Responsibilities

Define multi-year technology strategy, executive roadmap, and investment priorities.
Lead the operating rhythm of the technology organization, governance, and planning.
Oversee technology portfolio governance, capital planning, and financial management.
Drive accountability by monitoring delivery performance, risks, and portfolio health.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Operations, Finance, HR, and stakeholders to elevate transformation outcomes.
