Job summary

US Foods is offering a Technology Strategy & Architecture Internship where you will gain hands‑on experience across enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and modernization efforts. You will work with architects, engineers, product teams, and leaders to translate strategy into scalable solutions and to learn how technology choices drive business value.

The program is full‑time, hybrid (onsite and remote), and provides guidance from a manager and mentor, with opportunities to present

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical program.
Pursuing a degree in IT, CS, IS, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Document current‑state and future‑state architecture views, including business capabilities, applications, data flows, and dependencies.
Research emerging technologies and architecture practices relevant to DigiTech and US Foods priorities.
Maintain enterprise architecture repositories, standards, roadmaps, and references for transparency and reuse.
Assist with architecture reviews by preparing materials, notes, and tracking actions.
Collaborate with architects, product teams, and security to support assessments and modernization planning.
Support application portfolio analysis including ownership, value, fit, and lifecycle status.
Develop standards, guardrails, and reusable guidance for secure, scalable solutions.
Create dashboards and executive summaries communicating architecture insights and risks.
