Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee who will undergo extensive hands-on training before advancing to a recruiter role. You’ll recruit IT consultants, coach candidates, and collaborate with account managers to deliver top talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of full‑time professional experience OR 4 years of full‑time professional experience in a customer facing role.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a commission-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and own the full recruiting cycle.
• Provide career coaching on market trends, labor rates and resume optimization.
• Develop sourcing strategies using tools and AI to identify candidates.
• Use data-driven insights to guide hiring decisions.
• Advise account managers on skill availability and location decisions.
• Negotiate compensation packages to meet client needs.
• Demonstrate expertise in the relevant skill or industry.
