Job summary

McKinstry in Atlanta, GA seeks a Project Manager Tech Services to lead a high‑performing technical services delivery team. You will drive energy management programs, audits and analysis offerings to optimize building performance.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage budgets, set milestones and guide client engagements while advancing our owner-direct services. Strong leadership and energy expertise are essential for impact.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Sustainability, Architecture, Environmental Science or Energy degree or equivalent work in the built-environment experience.
• Prior people management experience is required.
• Able to analyze project financials.
• Assist with client interactions.
• Review and improve process and procedures.
• Prior people management experience is highly desired.
• Understanding of building efficiency.
• Understanding of basic design principles and standards.
• Understanding of data analytics in the built environment.
• Ability to analyze utility data.
• Knowledge of building HVAC mechanical systems, BAS systems, and energy analysis.
• PE license is preferred. BCxA CCP, ACG CxA, ASHRAE BCxP certification is preferred. CEM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the alignment of our offering and delivery teams as they evolve.
• Collaborate with local and enterprise-wide stakeholders to set and deliver the vision.
• Plan resource plans, equipment requirements, set milestones and support delivery of projects with excellence.
• Play an integral role in project budgeting, scoping, and savings strategies to maximize client impact.
• Ensure effective project delivery by your team.
• Lead technical delivery experts optimizing the build environment for Active Energy Management, MBCx, performance audits and analysis offerings.
