Job summary

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks an Inventory Clerk for Technology Services to support shipping and receiving, maintain supply stock, and assist with equipment tracking within the Office of the CIO. This full-time Civil Service role involves 50+ lbs lifting, pallet jack operation, and inventory management across multiple locations on campus.

Work is performed on the Urbana-Champaign campus, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping, receiving and inventory processes preferred.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loading dock for inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Receive, inspect packages and update receiving records.
• Provide staff package notification and checkout of packages.
• Organize, maintain and secure loading dock and package room.
• Process ship-out requests for Technology Services.
• Assist in coordinating delivery of new staff equipment or refreshed equipment.
• Review the physical status of devices returned by employees.
• Assist with shipping and receiving related issues as necessary.
• Assist with disposal of surplus assets and data sanitization.
