Job summary

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for an Inventory Clerk - Technology Services. This 100% full-time Civil Service 0768 role supports shipping/receiving, package room storage, supply stock and cost recovery inventory, and equipment tracking within Technology Services under the CIO.

The successful applicant will work on campus, handle loading dock monitoring, pallet jack use, asset records in FABPlus/FABweb, and ensure data sanitization and compliance with university

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to enter, update, and retrieve asset and inventory records.
• Experience with asset tracking systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loading dock for inbound/outbound deliveries and assist with unloading using a pallet jack.
• Receive, inspect packages, update receiving records, and coordinate staff notifications.
• Maintain loading dock, package room, and conduct cost recovery inventory.
• Assist with surplus disposal, asset tagging, and data sanitization per policy.
• Maintain FABPlus/FABweb records and ensure accurate equipment inventories.
