Job summary

Granger Construction is seeking an IT Service Desk Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting teams across community projects. You will provide first-level IT support, manage tickets in the ITSM system, and assist with device deployments and onboarding of new hires.

The program runs as a paid internship starting January 2027, beginning part-time and transitioning to full-time in the summer, with networking, teamwork, and opportunities to contribute to knowledge base articles and process

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, or related field.
Strong interest in IT support and customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level IT support for employee technology issues and service requests.
Create, update, categorize, and route tickets within the ITSM platform.
Assist with password resets, account unlocks, and basic access requests.
Support laptop, desktop, mobile device, and peripheral deployments.
Document common issues and contribute to knowledge base articles.
Monitor ticket queues and ensure requests are properly assigned and updated.
