Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow career and sales success in one of our retail stores. You will generate retail sales, uncover customer needs, and recommend complete tech solutions.

You’ll grow through ongoing training and engagement with the community to build a loyal customer base. You can earn $16.00 to $21.00 per hour in base pay, plus up to $18,000 a year in commissions, with total compensation potentially reaching $65,000–$75,500+ annually depending on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Open to pick up additional shifts and earn more income during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales using strong communication to fulfill customer needs with simple, intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community at Verizon events to expand the loyal customer base.
