Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales in one of our retail stores. You will combine product knowledge with exceptional customer service to connect with customers and close sales, while learning and growing through ongoing training.

You can earn base pay of $16.00–$21.00 per hour plus up to $18,000 yearly in individual commissions if goals are met, with top performers potentially reaching $65,000–$75,500 annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Open to pick up additional shifts, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn customer needs by asking questions and building connections.
• Present product insights and recommend solutions for a complete top-down sale.
• Close sales using strong communication to meet customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training and broaden skills across merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow customer base by outbound calls and texts to existing customers.
• Engage with the community at Verizon-sponsored events to expand loyalty.
