Job summary

Dropbox is seeking a highly organized Legal Operations Associate to optimize the operational infrastructure of the legal function. You will manage multiple legal systems, partner across teams, and drive efficiency and innovation within a fast-paced tech environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in legal operations, experience with JSM, Confluence, Ironclad, Spellbook, and related tools, and a strong track record in project management and process optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, project management, or related operations within a legal department or law firm.
• Tech industry experience and familiarity with commercial transactions preferred.
• Experience with legal systems and technologies such as JSM, Confluence, Ironclad, Spellbook; Brightflag a plus.
• Strong track record in process optimization and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to navigate complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead legal team workflows, policies, and processes to improve efficiency.
• Implement and manage legal technology tools (e.g., CLM, eBilling, matter management).
• Drive KPIs, reporting, and dashboards to measure value.
• Support rollout and onboarding of additional Legal teams; test changes and train users.
• Oversee outside counsel and legal vendor engagements, onboarding, and billing.
• Manage the legal team’s tech stack and collaborate with IT as needed.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and other teams on initiatives.
• Ensure smooth communication between Legal and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into system configurations and refine workflows.
