Job summary

Dropbox is seeking a highly organized Legal Operations Associate to support the operational infrastructure of its Legal team. You will manage multiple legal systems, partner with internal teams, and drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.

The role requires deep experience in legal operations and proficiency with platforms like JSM, Confluence, Ironclad, and Spellbook. It offers visibility and opportunities to scale Dropbox’s Legal function for tomorrow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in legal operations, or related operations within a legal department or law firm.
• Experience in tech/legal environments preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into system configurations.
• Familiarity with contracting and procurement processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead legal team workflows to improve efficiency.
• Implement and manage legal technology tools (e.g., CLM, eBilling, matter management).
• Drive KPIs, reporting, and dashboards to measure value.
• Support rollout and onboarding of additional Legal teams and testing changes.
• Oversee outside counsel and legal vendor engagements, onboarding, and billing.
• Manage the legal team’s tech stack and collaborate with IT.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Compliance and other teams on initiatives.
• Ensure clear communication between Legal and business stakeholders.
• Translate process needs into configurations and refine workflows.
• Coordinate with CIT and Atlassian for platform guidance and support.
• Maintain centralized repositories for contracts, templates, policies, and knowledge.
• Help maintain Legal Confluence knowledge base and AI-assisted responses.
• Lead or support legal projects from planning to execution.
• Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual workload.
