Job summary

Dropbox, Inc. is seeking a highly organized Legal Operations Associate to strengthen the operational backbone of our Legal team. You will optimize multiple legal systems, partner across internal teams, and drive efficiency with innovative tooling in a fast-paced tech environment.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in legal operations and is proficient with JSM, Confluence, Ironclad, and Spellbook, with a willingness to learn newer AI-assisted tools while maintaining rigorous governance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in legal operations or related operations roles within a legal department or law firm.
• Background with legal systems and technologies such as JSM, Confluence, Ironclad, Spellbook, Brightflag is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with contracting and procurement processes and knowledge management is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead legal team workflows, policies, and processes to improve efficiency.
• Implement and manage legal technology tools (e.g., CLM, eBilling, matter management).
• Drive legal department KPIs, reporting, and dashboards to measure performance and value.
• Support the rollout of Legal's front door in Jira Service Management and onboarding of additional Legal teams.
• Oversee outside counsel and legal vendor engagements, onboarding, and billing.
• Manage the legal team's tech stack and collaborate with IT as needed.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Compliance and other teams on operational initiatives.
• Ensure smooth communication between Legal and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into system configurations and refine workflows.
