Job summary

Avnet, a global technology distributor, seeks an experienced Inside Sales/Customer Service professional to drive opportunities with existing accounts and new customers, leveraging technical knowledge.

You will coordinate with product, materials, field sales, and suppliers to deliver solutions, quotes, and timely orders while building trusted relationships.

Requires five years of related experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent; SAP/ERP systems knowledge is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, ERP, and order management.
• Proficient Excel skills for analysis, formulas, and data manipulation.
• Proficient in QuoteFX, SupplierWin, PowerPoint, WebEx.

Responsibilities

• Delivers solutions or finds new opportunities for a positive customer experience using independent judgment and sales methodology.
• Initiates and responds to sales inquiries from prospective and existing customers to promote product offerings.
• Responds promptly and accurately to customer information requests.
• Monitors and follows up on sales activities to exceed customer requirements from initial contact to order fulfillment.
• Maintains and expands sales with existing accounts through high‑level customer service and knowledge.
• Coordinates sales efforts and strategies with internal resources such as product, materials, field sales, and suppliers.
• Communicates current product information, provides accurate pricing, quotes, and input on final solutions.
• Coordinates customer requirements for inventory, delivery lead time, and unit prices.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
