Job summary

Avnet LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service specialist who combines sales acumen with technical knowledge to sell products and solutions to new and existing accounts. You will manage inbound and outbound communications, develop trusted relationships, and promote Avnet options to grow revenue and margin.

You will coordinate with product, materials, field sales and suppliers, respond to inquiries, provide pricing and quotes, and help manage inventories and delivery

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in inside sales or customer service.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and MS Office.
• Ability to develop trusted customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Delivers solutions or finds new opportunities for a positive customer experience.
• Initiates and answers sales inquiries to promote product offerings and capabilities.
• Responds promptly to customer information requests.
• Monitors follow-up on sales activities to meet requirements from contact to order.
• Maintains and expands sales with existing accounts through high-level service and knowledge.
• Collaborates with product, materials, field sales and suppliers to align sales strategies.
• Communicates current product information, pricing, quotes, and final solutions to customers.
• Coordinates inventories, delivery lead times and unit prices for existing customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
