Avnet, a Fortune 500 technology distributor, seeks an Inside Sales/Customer Service professional in Minnesota. You will sell products and solutions to new and existing accounts via inbound/outbound communications while building trusted relationships and driving revenue.

Typically requires 2+ years in related roles; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in SAP/ERP and Excel will help deliver pricing, quotes, and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in inside sales or customer service.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP and Excel for data analysis and order management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to respond to inquiries and manage orders from initial contact to fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers solutions and identifies new opportunities to improve the customer experience.
• Responds to sales inquiries from prospective and existing customers to promote offerings.
• Provides timely and accurate information requests from customers.
• Monitors sales activities to meet customer requirements from contact to fulfillment.
• Expands sales with existing accounts through high-level customer service and knowledge.
• Collaborates with product, materials, field sales and suppliers to coordinate efforts.
• Communicates current product information and provides pricing, quotes and input on solutions.
• Coordinates inventories, delivery lead times and unit prices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
