Job summary

Würth Elektronik Group is offering a Connected Sales Internship onsite in Watertown, SD. You will join a connected sales team, gaining hands-on exposure to CRM, quotes, order processing, and account development while balancing school commitments.

You will work up to 20 hours per week with mentoring from experienced sales professionals and opportunities to apply classroom learning in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college/university (business, marketing, sales, engineering, communications).
• Interest in B2B sales, customer success, electronics or technical products.
• Strong communication and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support regular communication with established customers and help strengthen long-term relationships.
• Assist with customer outreach, including identifying contacts and preparing call lists.
• Help identify opportunities for up-selling, cross-selling, and add-on sales.
• Learn about customers' products, applications, forecasts, and component requirements.
• Develop an introductory understanding of Würth Elektronik product lines and their applications.
• Prepare and send samples, marketing materials, quotes, and other communications in a timely manner.
• Support order-processing activities and maintain sales documentation.
• Assist with customized component concepts and solutions for customer needs.
• Maintain customer records and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
• Participate in meetings, training, and other learning opportunities.
