Job summary

You will guide risk assessment, validate remediation, and sponsor AI-assisted control testing, partnering with Product Owners, Governance teams, and Regulators to deliver a clear view of the technology risk posture and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology risk management, Internal Audit, or related governance.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI in risk/workflows with validation habits.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted risk summaries before use.
• Hands-on testing of control design and operating effectiveness.
• Strong root cause analysis to distinguish root vs. symptom.
• Familiarity with full issue lifecycle in regulated financial institutions.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders with actionable risk insights.
• Professional skepticism and clear executive-level writing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage technology risk; root cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Validate issue remediation and closure readiness; test action plan evidence.
• Review issue lifecycle documents for clarity, severity, and narratives.
• Monitor control design and operating effectiveness; identify gaps and enhancements.
• Support risk reduction assessments and escalations with compensating controls.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate risk evidence synthesis and reporting.
• Build relationships with LOB technologists, governance teams, and TRC partners.
• Execute governance of controls, policies, issue management, and measurements.
• Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted controls testing with human review.
• Contribute to TRC standards, testing procedures, and playbooks.
