Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Computer Works Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the computer works area, ensuring efficient, cost-effective processes and high-quality output. You will supervise associates, evaluate donated computers, refurbish and transfer units to stores for resale, and maintain CW standards for OS installation and configuration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years of management experience required.
• A+ certification or better preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and all associates in Computer Works.
• Evaluate donated computers to assess value.
• Refurbish computers and transfer to stores for resale.
• Install an operating system and configure CW standards.
• Perform minor upgrades and troubleshoot computer equipment.
• Drive associate productivity and lean operations.
• Order and maintain supplies within the established budget.
• Recruit and train Computer Works associates.
