Job summary

Monzo Bank Limited is seeking a player-coach Head of Recruitment to lead a small squad of Recruiters and stay hands-on with senior-level hiring. You’ll partner with Workforce Planning and executive stakeholders to shape hiring strategy and ensure high-impact outcomes.

You’ll drive inclusive hiring, data-informed decisions and scalable processes while supporting growth and talent development across Monzo’s teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience recruiting in-house, within tech functions (e.g. Product, Engineering).
• Experience coaching recruiters and helping others develop and succeed.
• Comfortable in a player-coach leadership role combining people leadership with hands-on recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small squad of Recruiters while remaining hands-on with hiring.
• Partner with senior stakeholders (VPs and executives) on hiring strategy and planning.
• Embed inclusive hiring practices and drive process improvements at scale.
