Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Dallas, TX is seeking a Technology Recruiter to build relationships with active and passive IT candidates and collaborate with the sales team to fill contract and direct-hire roles across IT disciplines.

You will interview, assess, and present candidates, network at local groups, negotiate pay rates, and help drive delivery strategy while representing a leading staffing firm recognized for growth and a strong culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ technology recruiting experience.
• 3+ years’ IT recruitment experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Active member of the IT community and/or networking groups.

Responsibilities

• Identify, interview, and evaluate candidates for client opportunities.
• Foster long-term relationships with IT professionals; attend local user groups and events.
• Review and understand technical job requirements and skills.
• Review, reformat and present resumes to meet client expectations.
• Develop strategies to qualify candidates through various tools or networks.
• Negotiate pay rates with consultants based on position requirements.
• Meet with candidates in person or virtually to assess qualifications.
• Collaborate with sales to drive delivery strategy for consultants and candidates.
