CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Tech QA Manager for the Polaris project, The Witcher 4. You will lead a Technical QA team, adapting the QA strategy into actionable plans, ensuring milestone verification and high-quality testing across engines and tools. The role emphasizes data-driven quality reporting and cross-functional collaboration.

Office-First with Warsaw studio, hybrid options, and relocation required. You will drive QA workflows, mentor engineers, and manage risk through performance metrics

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading Tech QA teams in game development.
• 5+ years in performance management and career development.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, bug workflows, defect management, test planning and reporting.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or in-house engine and editor tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Tech QA team with accountability and growth.
• Adapt Polaris QA strategy into practical testing approaches and measurable outcomes.
• Own testing execution and milestone verification to meet technical quality standards.
• Monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and bug trends to identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with development, production, and external QA vendors on dependencies and alignment.
• Maintain data-informed reporting on quality status, blockers, and project readiness.
