CD Projekt in Warsaw is seeking a Core Engineer to push Unreal Engine technology for large open-world games like the Witcher saga. You will help shape streaming, editor tools, physics engine support, and engine optimizations, guiding the project toward solid technical outcomes.

You will collaborate across disciplines to ensure the delivered systems meet the needs of all stakeholders, with relocation support and flexible working options for EU candidates.

Qualifications

• Significant Unreal Engine experience across core engine areas.
• Experience with streaming, memory systems and world-building tools.
• Extensive C++ experience and AAA title development background.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining core technology systems built on Unreal Engine.
• Proposing and implementing solutions to performance and scale demands of a large open world game.
• Cooperating with Epic to share ideas and advance technology.
• Creating technology for a game that delivers memorable experiences to players.

• Maintaining clear communication and strong ownership with power users.
