We are actively seeking a talented Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead as the subject matter expert for customer manufacturing test development projects, including test software, hardware, and integration, supporting data center manufacturing test development projects. You will network with customer teams, suppliers, engineers, and a team of experts to maximize support.
Your contribution in this role:
- Manage data center test infrastructure projects from planning to deployment supporting NPI manufacturing.
- Oversee test strategy, schedule, budget, risk management, procurement, logistics, and integration, ensuring alignment with NPI schedules.
- Coordinate supplier selection for test fixture components and JDM solutions.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders, vendors, and contract manufacturers to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Maintain and co-author technical documentation, including test plans, processes, presentations, dashboards, and requirements.
- Evaluate technological strategies based on stakeholder requirements and test implications.
- Support sales by demonstrating our capabilities, industry trends, standards, and challenges in manufacturing test.
The ideal candidate:
- Degree: Bachelor's in electrical, computer, industrial engineering, or related manufacturing field.
- Required Experience:
- 5+ years in project management within high-visibility, strategic areas with strong communication skills.
- 5+ years in manufacturing test industries.
- Experience with various testing approaches (functional, performance, stress).
- Experience managing suppliers and partners for test requirements.
- Understanding of SDLC and testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Manufacturing test design experience.
- Experience working across cultures and time zones.
- Communication:
- Ability to work in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with change management, documentation, and training.
- Strong ownership and escalation skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Mobility: Willing to travel up to 5% as required.
- Schedule: Flexible, supporting Pacific Time zone (GMT-7) and East Asia (GMT+8).
