IT Project Manager

Location: 100% Remote (preferably within the US, working EST hours)

Duration: 6+ Months with Possibility of Extension

Work Schedule: 35 hours/week

Note:

• FLSA Classification: Exempt
• Top Skills: Recent (last 1-2 years) experience with Jira and Confluence, detail and process-oriented, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies
• Candidates with comparable experience but no college degree will be considered
• This is a remote position with no travel required. Candidates can be located in MA or out of state, working regular Eastern Time hours (9am - 5pm)

Description:

The IT Project Manager works closely with user communities, team members, technical teams, and vendors to evaluate, design, test, implement, and validate solutions. Responsibilities include developing project schedules, resource plans, coordinating outreach activities, and preparing budget forecasts. The role involves identifying project risks, monitoring progress, preparing status reports, and participating in governance meetings. The candidate should have significant experience managing projects through all lifecycle phases, including initiation, planning, estimating, scheduling, testing, release, and stabilization.
