Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Asset & Wealth Management Tech & OPS seeks a Technical Project Manager II to lead complex technology programs, align business goals with engineering work, and drive growth and technical excellence in a dynamic environment.

You will manage resources, budgets, and cross-functional teams, apply adaptive problem solving, promote responsible AI use, and communicate clearly through status updates, planning artifacts, and governance reviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical program management leading complex technology projects.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations.
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Leadership and ownership, delivering outcomes with minimal oversight.
• Strong project planning and tracking, managing dependencies and risks.
• Experience in resource optimization/planning.
• Proven ability managing diverse stakeholders and governance.
• Experience leading AI-assisted software development tool usage with validation expectations.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and breakdown complex business, technical, and operational objectives into manageable tasks.
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate project planning and risk synthesis, validating outputs.
• Support the optimization of allocated resources to plan, schedule, and progress initiatives.
• Participate in stakeholder management with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Assist in risk management by making informed decisions in line with policies.
• Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted governance artifacts with human review.
• Drives team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with validation standards.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools, including AI-assisted development and automation capabilities.
• Provide clear communication and reporting: run rhythms, publish dashboards, elevate decisions.
• Translate business needs to engineering execution: write requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Drive disciplined delivery with Agile/Scrum/Kanban, metrics, change control, and retros/postmortems.
