Job summary

Datadog is seeking a motivated Technical Program Manager II to lead cross‑team technical programs within its Technical Solutions organization. You will coordinate stakeholders, translate goals into plans, and drive delivery from planning through to completion in a hybrid work environment in the United States.

You will partner with team leads and subject matter experts to establish program management fundamentals, identify ambiguous requirements, and use data to guide decisions while applying AI

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leading technical programs in a SaaS or technical environment.
• Experience supporting customer-facing or technical support functions is a plus.
• Solid foundation in project scoping, timeline management, and risk management; PMP/Agile certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field; equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of cross-team programs that support one or more Technical Solutions teams — coordinating stakeholders, dependencies, and timelines from kickoff through delivery.
• Translate program goals into clear, actionable plans, and document scope, timeline, and quality expectations along the way.
• Establish and maintain program management fundamentals — trackers, status updates, risk logs — to give stakeholders visibility into progress and blockers.
• Identify unclear or incomplete requirements early and bring structure to ambiguous problems.
• Use data to track progress against milestones, surface risks, and guide decisions; adjust plans as circumstances change.
• Apply AI tools to streamline program management workflows — synthesizing updates and accelerating documentation.
• Communicate program status, risks, and impact clearly to stakeholders at different levels.
• Look for opportunities to improve how programs and processes run and contribute ideas for efficiency.
