Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement, purchasing, vendor management, or related roles.
• Experience buying tech hardware, software, subscriptions, services, or supplies.
• Detail-oriented with ability to review pricing, quotes, and contracts.
• Strong negotiation, organization, communication, and stakeholder skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and renewal dates.

Responsibilities

• Order and coordinate delivery of computer hardware, software, technology services, and business supplies.
• Manage purchasing requests from intake through approval, purchase order, delivery, and invoice reconciliation.
• Maintain records of vendors, contracts, renewals, pricing, warranties, subscriptions, and purchasing activity.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, discounts, payment terms, renewals, and service commitments with vendors.
• Analyze spending and usage to identify duplicate, underused, or unnecessary products and services.
• Support vendor selection, competitive quotes, contract reviews, and renewal planning.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Information Security, IT, and business stakeholders to follow purchasing and risk-review processes.
• Monitor upcoming renewals and provide timely recommendations on renewals, cancellations, consolidation, or alternative solutions.
• Help standardize procurement processes, documentation, and reporting to improve efficiency, visibility, and cost control.
