Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Head of Technology Policy Oversight to lead second-line risk governance, policy development, and enterprise standards across technology, information security, data protection, and resilience.

We partner with Legal, Regulation Relations, Audit, and Risk to translate regulatory obligations into practical policy, implementation plans, and measurable oversight outcomes. This is a senior leadership role in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in technology risk, policy governance, compliance or a related discipline within a regulated organization.
• Experience leading enterprise risk, governance or policy functions and influencing senior executives.
• Deep expertise in policy lifecycle management, regulatory mapping, risk and control design, governance and monitoring.
• Proven ability to translate complex regulatory, risk and technical concepts into clear direction and measurable operating requirements.
• Experience leading teams through change with strong execution and stakeholder confidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead policy governance, change control and compliance for technology risk policies and standards.
• Oversee policy lifecycle: development, approval, implementation, exceptions, change control and retirement.
• Maintain traceability between regulatory obligations, policy requirements, controls, metrics and reporting.
• Assess policy changes for regulatory, operational, technology and control impacts.
