Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Head of Technology Policy Oversight to lead governance across technology risk, security, and data privacy. The role guides policy lifecycle and aligns regulatory obligations with controls and reporting.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Audit, and business lines to drive measurable risk decisions and executive-level communications while building a strong, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technology risk, policy governance, compliance, cybersecurity, or operational risk within a regulated organization.
• Experience leading enterprise risk, governance, or policy functions and influencing senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead policy governance across technology, information security, data protection and privacy, and enterprise resilience.
• Oversee policy lifecycle: development, approval, implementation, exception management, change control, retirement.
• Prepare and present policy matters to executive governance and oversight committees.
• Develop and retain a high-performing team of policy, risk, and program management professionals.
