You will draft and prosecute patents, conduct IP due diligence, and counsel clients on portfolios, licensing, and strategy.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in a relevant field, USPTO registration, IP law firm experience, superb writing and research skills, and a strong academic record; software development

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant field (IP/Patent).
• Registered to practice before the USPTO.
• Proven experience in an IP law firm.
• Exceptional writing and research skills.
• Strong academic record.
• Software development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patents and conduct IP due diligence.
• Respond to office actions.
• Prepare and analyze patent searches; assess patentability, prior art, non-infringement, and validity.
• Provide client counseling and manage portfolios.
• Engage in licensing activities.
