Qualifications
- At least 5 years as a patent agent at a law firm or in-house
- Registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office
- Experience with software patents is a plus
Responsibilities
- Harvest inventions directly from clients
- Advise clients on invention disclosures, patent strategy, and prosecution
- Evaluate cutting-edge technology
- Draft and prosecute US patent applications
- Guide prosecution of foreign patent applications
- Contribute to opinion work and client counseling
- Support litigation efforts
- Provide technical support across the practice
