BCG Attorney Search seeks a Junior/Mid-Level Patent Agent for its Patent Development & Strategy practice in Palo Alto, CA. You will draft and prosecute patent applications, working with inventors to shape protection strategies and coordinate with attorneys to drive patent portfolios forward.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of patent prosecution experience, USPTO registration, and a background in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of patent prosecution experience.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications.
• Registration to practice before the USPTO is required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications in technology fields.
• Collaborate with inventors and attorneys to develop patent strategies.
• Conduct prior art, patentability, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Support IP due diligence and portfolio management.
• Assist attorneys with client counseling and strategic patent matters.
