Responsibilities include handling endorsements, managing renewal books, coordinating with billing, risk control, and field partners, and documenting files for compliance. The role emphasizes relationship building with producers, pricing strategy, and staying current with lines of business and regulatory trends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Property and Casualty underwriting, policy processing procedures.
• Typically a minimum of three years related work experience.
• Strong time management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite risk for renewal and new business within assigned authority.
• Handle endorsements within delegated authority and clarify intent with agents.
• Manage assigned renewal book and coordinate next steps for accounts outside authority.
• Serve as liaison across CNA to resolve issues (billing, risk control, guidance).
• Document files ensuring completeness, compliance and quality.
• Document pricing rationale and assist pricing using unit tools.
• Complete quotes and negotiate within authority.
• Act as first-line contact to producers/customers on account matters.
• Assist in marketing products and services through external partners.
• Serve as a resource and trainer for others; provide feedback to underwriting partners.
• Stay current on line of business strategy, regulations and trends.
